Gold Coast Tweed Bonsai Club inc. or GCTBC began 40 years ago. It was originally called The Tweed Border Bonsai Group. Inaugurated in March 1983 at the C.W.A. Hall in Tweed Heads. The name was later changed to the Gold Coast Tweed Bonsai Club Inc. following incorporation on the 29th November 1991.

Today it's aim is to Teach and Promote the Art of Bonsai.

During the year club members will have the opportunity to participate in Beginner Classes, Own Tree Workshops, Demonstration from highly experienced tutors from within the club and visiting, Bus Trips, Auctions, Xmas Party to name a few.

Every year we hold our Annual Show. This large public event is a great opportunity for members to show their trees. 

Meetings are held on the 2nd Saturday of each month (No Meeting in January) from 10 am to 4:00 pm. 

We meet at the Carrara Community Centre, Neilsens Rd., Gold Coast, Queensland 4211 (M1 exit 73)
